Freeware Arrestor Cables

Postby Eskimo » Wed Dec 08, 2004 12:53 am

Does anyone know of a freeware arrestor cables that I can download to work if the Waikato carrier in FS9?

All I can find is payware versions and I don't have enough money for that. :'(

Eskimo ArrCab is property of Abacus now, so anyone distributing it can expect to have their bottom sued off!
However there is an alternative, go to http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military20.htm then download and install the Carrier Operation Package and you'll be fine ;)

Also recently released is a program called 3-wireV1.0..

downloaded last night and spent a few hours doing carrier operations successfully.  I'm sure it is not as fancy as the payware versions, however it seems to work very good for me! :-)

Possibly, I'm not certain though.
The first option I suggested however someone came up with a wee modification in the FS2k2 forum that made it work with FS2k2, if you have a quick trawl of the forum you'll find it I'm sure ;)

What version windows are you running? Do a windows update, and see what it comes up with...

typically net framework is not installed, however it can be installed through the windows up date (about 24MB)

This allows programs such as 3wire that are written in visual studio .net programming to run.

Not hard to use at all.. ;-)

Yeah, it may be just because I use Win 98.
