Could anyone recommend a good C-130 for AI traffic? I'm using Mike Stone's with the cruise speed set to 300 and it porpouses before crashing and disappearing in a pile of smoke on the runway.
thnx

The flight dynamics of mike stone's C130 are not good for AI traffic. Try replacing them with those of the default dash 8.

Thanks for the replies Agreed. Mike's C-130 does not work for AI. I had installed David Friswell and Johan Crous's C-130 but it doesn't show up in the sim. After adding it to my aircraft.txt and placing its number in my flightplan.txt it's a no-show.

The Readme states something about a 1% spreadsheet for the aircraft.cfg whatever that's supposed to mean. Anyway, I hope i don't have to repaint the David Friswell and Johan Crous plane to make it work.

In the mean time, MIke's C-130s look cool parked at Eielson AFB, PAEI, in Fairbanks!

Back to the drawing board.

EDIT Silly me . . . pasted the David Friswell and Johan Crous plane in the wrong folder! It now shows but needs a paint-job

Thanks for the tip, Ivan you are the man when it comes to pointing someone in the right direction. It's the same David Friswell over at aussim.au who created the C130 model so it all works quite well.

We just used one repaint for a test and it lfies like a bird, lands and taxiis to parking.

thanks again for making my military airports look better.

p.s. now i have to add G.K.'s other three C130 repaints ;-)
