Waterland in FS2004

I still cannot get fx_waterland to work in FS9.

Some downloaded aircraft like the AVIAT come with a wake effect , but others like the Catalina and Stuart Green's Sunderland call for fx_waterland in their aircraft (effects) section. This gives a spectacular spray wake on landing and take off in 2002 , but dosn't seem to work in FS9

Can anyone recommend and source a good water wake effect for FS9 and give guidance on getting it to work with add on aircraft. I have searched without success for advice on this.

I am using a pretty good graphics card ( Radeon 9800Pro) with water effects set to high.

Hi Helen and welcome to the forums! I can't help you with your question, but I would be interested to see what you are describing. We might get a better response in "Other Add Ons Wanted".
Thanks and Good Luck!!!

I just tried it. Been looking for something better than the puny water effects that come default. It works on my maching. Have you looked into the .cfg files of the aircraft you are trying to get this to work on? Possibly they may be set up wrong.

If that's not the problem then it may be video card related. I have an NVidia GForce 4. That's the only things I can think of.
