605 Scorpion's Same Old Question

Postby Scorpiоn » Fri May 14, 2004 9:16 pm

Well, after my dad alerted me to a sale at my local Fry's, and seeing a 250GB drive for $120, we jumped on it!  Instead of having 8GB, I know have 258GB. ::)

So now, I no longer have to deinstall one game/simulator to run another! :D Much schweetness is abounding here! ;D 8) So, now I actually can have FS2004 (there's no real need for FS2002 with this), CFS3, CFS2, CFS1, Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour, Medal of Honor: All...

You get the point.

So, I have come back, but I haven't been keeping tabs on the downloads being released (it's not like I'd remember them anyway).

So what is out there for FS2004 that:
  • Has a complete external/internal model
  • Panel is available (does not have to be bundled)
  • Animations use stock keys (lowering flaps won't open the exit/canopy)
  • No goofy stuff(I once downloaded an almost perect P-51: When you lowered the gear, a book would show up. ???)
  • Not a bajillion polys (I have a 500Mhz processor mind you, and I don't believe in overclocking! :o)
  • Textures
    • Good textures.  I mean good textures.  I don't mean, "Wow, that's good textures."  I mean, 8%3&1 ~*=%2 those are the best %^(#! textures I've ever &%+|>,*@ seen! :o  By far, textures are the number one reason (80%) I reject aircraft.
    • Everything's textured.

I'm doing this (again) because it's really hard to ditinguish between A+ add-ons and A- add-ons with tiny little thumbnails, and I'm not about to download Simviaton's (or anybody else's for that matter) entire library on a 56K. :P I don't mean to be an a-hole; I'm just the pickiest dang person out there when it comes to add-ons.  I've always said, if you've managed to please me you're either the bestest designer out there or you have too much spare time. ;) I don't care what it is, so long as it has wings, I'll fly it!  Anything from a Fokker Dr.1 to an Airbus A380!  I'm not picky about sounds tho'. ::)

Okay, let me rephrase the question: What is the best made aircraft from your entire collection?
