EAA Airventure Simulation

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone has seen an add-on for the Experimental Aircraft Association fly-in at OshKosh? I think that it would prove to be a valuable training tool for first-timers that fly to it. The Airventure webpage has specific guidelines for approaching the event (Ripon-Fisk-Whittman) and some very interesting pattern work and landing challenges.

I don't have any background in creating something like this from scratch, but I suspect that it should be an academic exercise if you already are familiar with the editing programs. The sim could use the already loaded a/c for traffic, but would be at an obviously higher density than is normally encountered. Other features of the sim could be the tower chatter, aircraft identification techniques and on-site aircraft camping.

Just a thought. Anyone up for the challenge?

I did the Google thing for "Flight simulator Airventure" and found the add-on that I was looking for.

I've installed in on ms FS2004 and have already tried it out. Works just fine!

Thanks for the info.

Over and out.
