Hey,
Im fresh at the forums,as well as the Game.Heck I have not even recieved the game yet(Bought On Ebay). This is going to be the first time in like 3-4 years since ive played the MS Flight Sim. game(Played only the FS98V).
But anyway..onto the question..I was browsing through the airport add-ons and I saw that theres a bunch of them..one specificly that I was looking for was the Guam International Airport aka Anderson air force base (Old school name).I lived on guam for about 3 years, went to school. It be really neat to fly around ths airport. And my question is,are there are any mods for FS 2004 to have the Guam airport?Ive seen onlythe FS02' version and I got to say its pretty damn good.
Thanks

Hi James, welcome to SimV.
With FS9 the add-ons are coming out fast and furious, however you'll also find that a lot of FS2k2 stuff works fine in FS9, I haven't tried Guam personally, but its probably worth a go.

Why Guam? Do you want to go visit the Taliban?

If you knew Guam, you would knoiw that it aint no hidden country or any taliban related area.Guam is part of the U.S and is a vital area for the U.S military today. Its part of the Marianas islands and was involved in WWII when it was taken over by the Japanese.U.S.A came over and took it over, now Guam is ours.
Guam is like any other U.S area, normal people, english speaking,McDonalds etc..but mainly its Military. There are 2 Military bases there on each tip of the island, you got the naval area, and the airforce area on ther other side of Guam(Whenever there is an oversea conflict, some mainly stop on Guam for refeuling, recruting, ammunition. In fact even once,I was told we were carrying nuclear weapons in these silos, and these silos were next to the local Mall)...and note:Guam is 36 miles long,12 miles wide.
Hehe..sorry fr the mini history man, just wanted to point what Guam was.I get that all the time.Anyway...onto the modifcation for the Game...you guys know if the FS2000 version will work with the FS2004?

Whoa, nice find Ozzy,Thanks for helping out man.You are my hero!

And I got to say the island mod is pretty damn accurate, the airport in the middle is the old air force base used back in WWII(Anderson AF Base),which is now the civilian use airport. And the airport in the lower area is THE "Anderson AirForce Base".Thats where all them nice military aircrafts ride!Almost every week youll see F-15s to C-5 aircrafts land and take off.
Thanks again ozzy!
