pictures and gps

i wonder if it possible, to do a gauge that uses the gps information to show different pictures (like charts and so on)..
I've downloaded the SDK and the problem as I see it is to do a sort of a database with pictures that is gonna be used when you are at specific location - to get GPS information and to load a picture and so on is not a problem...
