Add-On for Fsx

Postby Huy753 » Tue Oct 08, 2013 8:51 am

Hello,

I'm currently looking for an addon, which makes Fsx look more realistic (For Free, not paid)
Can anyone give me a download link to it? Any help will be appreciated!

Here's a link to a decent list of good freeware O0

Here's a good starting point for a more realistic environment:

I don't know if there is AN ADDON that'll give you what you want.

But there are a number of things that you can do, or get free that may help.

But it kind of depends on what, and how high you fly also.

I don't (normally) fly big tubes high in the sky. So photo-real scenery is of no great use to me.

Unfortunately, THAT lesson, cost me a bit of money to find out.

To offer better answers, we would also need to know WHERE you fly. Long flights over the oceans? Coat to Cost?

Or like me, low and slow, up and down canyons.

I also jump around the globe just for the fun a flying in a new environment such as Taiwan or Rumania.

If you like to fly low and slow outside of the US or Europe then a free terrain mesh might be important to you. And you only have to download that part of the world that you want/need. NOT the whole earth.

But then again, I fly a lot of local airports in small planes. There are a ton and a half of free airports around.

FTX Global Freeware Airports NA Pack 1

FTX Global Freeware Airports NA Pack 2

FTX Global Freeware Airports NA Pack 3

And that's just a small sample. SimViation has much more!

I frequently fly out of KPHL (Philadelphia Int. Airport) from Sun:Sky:Jet , an incredibly well made airport. AND it's free.

Sometimes something as simple as a better moon works for me. But I'm sure that there are those who couldn't care less.

We all know what "real" means to ourselves. But you'll have to tell us what "real" means to you.

Asking general questions such as "What does music sound like?" isn't going to get you very farr.
