I second colsie's idea...i think that would be a really good option...the members name could just go right down each side of the jetways...

That'd be pretty cool  8-)

Why not a main terminal building with gates reserbved for people e.g. yourself, myself and the others whos name escapes me.
I have a better idea. We have one SimV airport and soon to have two SimV airports when the location of SimV Europe is announced. SimV airports will have terminal buildings with gates and we can always add more if needed. It would be better to put our names on those gates rather than make more jetways at a small airport. Besides, hangers give people the feeling that this is their own. They helped make it and it's in a design that they like it to be. Each person can't design their own gate because it would make the terminal building look too weird. I will be posting a map of the SimV USA terminal buildings and people can choose their gates by the number and I will put their username on it. You can also wait for SimV Europe if you want to choose a selection from there and as I said, the map for this small airfield neighborhood will be up shortly. :)

You can't make terminals with AFCAD. You have to make the terminal with Gmax and then place the object into the simulator. AFCAD is used to make runways, taxiways, parking, etc.

Ok, I have found a great place for our airport. It is going to be one of many islands off the coast of British Columbia right near the mountains (instead of in the mountains like I originally said). It is very very beautiful and I am sure everyone will like it. Anyway I have done the AFCAD stuff and I now have a map of lots for this airport. Here it is. Take any lot you wish. Now if we run out of lots, there is no need to worry because there is still more of the island we can use and there are other islands too. I will take lot #6. :) Image

I'd like 14...can you post what we need to 'design' as far as customization of our hangers?

Thanks for doing all this and let me know if i can help in any way,

Well if you're using your house as a model for your hanger I will need pictures of every side of the house to serve as textures. If you're not using your house as a model you will need to create your own textures for each side of the hanger. Have fun. :)

Another idea for our helicopter flyers:
Those who don't want to park their choppers at a boring parking place next to boring c172s  ::) could build their helipad at the roof of a friend's hangar.......  8-)  ;) :) (don't look at the smileys it's no joke!)

And I've edited my post above, I'd have made a new one but I didn't see you already ansered.
