Flares

I have looked EVERYWHERE for FSX flares, but I have found none.
Can someone tell me where to find one or make me some?
I don't care if it's a dropable object or an effect.

Any effect file will work with FSX, from FS2000 to FS2004.  Try searching FlightSim.com or any other site for "flare" or "flares".  You'll have to tweak the CFG file for your particular aircraft, but it shouldn't be hard to do.

I tried one FS2004 flare effect and it stretched out vertically instead of dropping :(

if you are still looking for flares, I might be able to build you a nice set that WILL drop down by pressing I (smokescreen) just send me a pm with subject FLARES
