Looking for Alaska scenery (free)

Postby Mistro » Fri Jan 02, 2009 5:32 pm

I checked the freeware scenery list but the links to the Alaskan files are missing. Does anyone know where I can get scenery and mesh for Alaska? Thanks in advance.

I'll share a real secret.....

If you click on the downloads button on the homepage, and scroll down to the FSX Terrain Mesh, clicking on that will open up a page full of mesh scenery for FSX, including mesh downloads for Alaska....

OR....

Going to the search page, and typing 'FSX Alaska' will find the same page.

Both methods are quick, so it really doesn't matter. But I would suggest bookmarking the search page, as it is sometimes quicker to do a 30 second search than to wait hours for someone on the forums to do the same search.... ;D

Something like this? ;D ::)

That is hilarious Mark!

I sent my mum a couple of screenshots in an e-mail, to illustrate what she needed to do. I can't remember what it was.

While on the phone we went through the little tutorial I wrote step by step but from the beginning she kept saying: "No no ... nothing happens if I click on that button."

.......

She was clicking in the screenshots ;D ;D ;D

lmao... ;D

Ain't that the truth. I've gotta help my mom with all kinds of simple technical stuff. I used to joke that the only emergency red cross message I would get while in Iraq was about the DVD player... ;D
