Washington DC Scenery

Postby akka » Sun Sep 28, 2008 11:20 am

Anybody has any good DC scenery to suggest? I searched most of the free sites and there ain't any except for Dulles Int'l. I know they must have taken everything off after 9/11 as they don't want any want to be terrorist to learn how to fly a 747 into the Whitehouse lawn. I flew over the fs9 default DC. Nothing there except autogen ugly houses and large piece of grassland. Those fellows from Mircorsoft must have forgotton there is such a piece of software call Google earth. Anybody with the nuke effect can nuke DC anyday with or without the white house in it in fs9! 8-)

No problem searching for some good DC scenery.

But folks...... maybe let's keep the discussions about "nuking" anything to a minimum in this thread......... since the subject of any supposed connections between terrorism and flight simming is a very sensitive one in the flight sim community in general, and also potentially in the political community of an international forum.

This simple scenery search could go off the "deep end" into a clearly political discussion very easily.

Thanks.

best,

Though it is not photo terrain/scenery,

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
