SRTM Data

As in regards to the SRTM data available on SimV: is there any fix for the "plateau" and "valley" issues when the default airport elevation doesn't agree with the SRTM values?

Interesting question Locke ... I've been wondering the same for quite sometime now.
I have that issue with Alaska Cinematic and William Morgan's PANC (amongst others).

I'm curious what answers this tread will get. I'll be monitoring this one ...

Thanks for the question! ;)

Harold....

Finding a "Fix" would defeat all the excitement of having to dive into that 150-foot deep hole in the ground to land on that buried Airstrip which you spot at the last minute*... ;)...!

Paul.... ;D...!

Even better when no one else has that particular download . . .

" . . . and exactly WHY is Paul diving at the runway?" :-?

...when that runway ahead is buried 150 feet down in a hole in the ground (Mesh), we have no choice but to dive down into it...with full Flaps akimbo... ;D...!

I happens all the time with our conflicting add-on Scenery Mesh... ::)...!

...and quite exciting when all the Multi players are trying to land in the hole at the same time.... ;D....!

Paul....FS 2004....General Aviation.... :).... 8-)....!
