comulus low famerates

Hi,I get good framerates usualy in urban scenery (20-22) with medium graphic settings on the sim.
However when I put clouds specially comulus,the framerates
drops dramaticly by 5-7 fps.  :-[
The wether settings is set to the lowest possible,even cloud precent is set to medium-which in overcast days is very unrealistc!!!
Is there a replacement for the clouds that work faster?

There are alternative cloud sets available at flightsim and avsim. I haven't tried either as I've had no problems with mine.
What are your system specs?
