Some planes already have a voice gauge that warns you when you are 200, 100, 50, 30, and 10 feet above the runway  ;D

It comes with the phoenix airbus a3XX package. I don't know if you can use it with other aircraft though, they have set out there aircraft folder so it is really hard to remove little pieces like that.

It is quite useful, but i find it just as easy to set the terrain alert gauge to 20ft or something to that effect.
I want to be a pilot, so any tips and tricks from the real guys would be much appreciated.(i.e send me a message)

I couldn't find them here but the AVSim library has at least 3:

fpda_a320_callout.zip
fpda_a330_callout.zip
fpda_boeing_callout.zip

AVSim won't let me link directly to the library anymore so you will have to register and search for them.

Not sure, but I think I have heard the
PULL UP   PULL UP warning.

But since I have multiple flight simulators. I can't remember if FS9 has it or if it was on another one...

I used to fly for Eastern Virtual and still have their planes i know that for the most part all of them have it. Also the "Ultimate 737-400" on AVsim has it as well.

Ive heard a pull up one. But it only works on fs98 which is bad. I'd like to have the terrain and altitue warning thing. The stall one sounds nice as well. Can any of you give me a web site to download one off?

I am working on this for me!!  I have been searching for these cockpit and cabin sounds. I downloaded many files and I am going through them for installation in various aircraft.

They are all the warnings.  here is one of them.  Is it what you want?

[excerpt]
*If you have  particular sounds you want added to an aircraft or vehicle
and you have any recordings of them, email me the zip containing your
sounds and I will make you a file. Each wave needs to be at least 100kbs in size.
Enjoy.

Beware of what you ask for.  I too have voice warning on my customized Gulf IV and it's so annoying to be warned of the terrain every 5 seconds and to PULL UP! PULL UP! when I'm trying to land. I do like the altitude callout though. My problem is after 2 days of searching for the files I have yet to get rid of them. ( Just too annoying) I'v searched my wav files, found everthing else but. I also switched the sound file with another to no avail. The plane does sound better but just cant handle all that chatter at a critical time. I do have a plane ( will look for it later ) that has a switch on the panel to turn it on or off. I'll work on this today as I'm not leaving Ireland untill I get rid of it or at least shut it off.

I found a solution to getting rid of PULL UP! PULL UP! TOO LOW! TOO LOW! while I'm trying to land. I took the panel from Rogers GMAX Stealth B2 and put it on my customized Gulf IV. Works great, Easy switch and no problem. I didnt get rid of the callouts I didnt like but now I can at least turn it off untill I reach 500 Ft. then the altitude callout takes over and all is well.                 ( unfortunatly as I was gloating over my handywork last night when landing at Edinburgh in all that wind I forgot to put my landing gear down. I WAS playing around with all the new features....) ::)
