I loaded my CFS1 scenery into CFS2

Try Steve McClelland's CFSII Europe Release 2 from the CFS2 Scenery section. This will give you the mesh + over 80 UK airfields. Steve created it specially for me. Others in the series cover a bigger area of Europe than the CFS1 default. (He deliberately didn't include the CFS1 default airfields.) The GZR airfields & those by other experienced CFS2 designers are compatible with it.

PS. Generally speaking, the CFS1 default files are not suitable for CFS2.
