Floatplane

Goodly morning all... ;)

Since there are none of the below for FSX Freeware:
DeHaviland of Canada
Radial engine DHC-2 "Beaver"
Radial engine DHC-3 "Otter"
(in all configurations...amphibious floats, wheels, wheel skis or floats except the default FSX Beaver on floats)

Cessna
C180, C185 in all configurations for FSX Freeware

Is there a Cessna 172 on floats for FSX in Freeware?

I hope the new Microsoft Flight helps rectify this problem... :)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Good morning all... :)

It would seem 72 folks do not have an answer... :o

Can anyone post a Link to a Floatplane other than the Turbo Otter and Beaver that is Freeware and works well in FSX.
I tried the Republic Seabee and I had problems with it.
I would really like a bugsmasher that has a GPS system if possible and I thought there was a Cessna 172 on floats but can't seem to find that.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Sorry Doug, I do not know of any in your list. It has a lot to do with why I started getting payware. The C185 was my first and the Beaver was either second or third. I'm still looking for a payware Super Otter on

floats/amphibian, or a way to make Eugene's native FSX without having to get the tools and learn how to build one myself, and then take months doing it. Besides, if I ever did decide to try building something, I think the

Piaggio P-136-L1 would be first.

Thanks Larry...I was holding off on Payware until I saw what Microsoft "Flight" was all about... ;)

I know Doug. But Flight is most likely at least a year away from release, maybe longer. And unless they configure it to use FSX aircraft, not likely in my opinion, much, much longer before payware aircraft become available for it. My patience is not that high.

I don't know for sure Doug, that is just the rumor. But it usually takes a while, especially if they are building from scratch and not just updating.

But you can never accurately predict exactly when something like that will be released, unless you have inside information. I don't. I'm just going by the general consensus.
