Piper PA-28R-201...Arrow 111

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Piper PA-28R-201...Arrow 111

Goodly afternoon all... :)

Well I downloaded another aircraft that I like but needs some work.

Downloaded a six pack plus one Piper PA-28R-201 aircraft and I am pleased with the cockpit.

However the aircraft needs a prop fix...I tried to find a fix on the internet but could not come up with anything.

The prop looks almost like a black disc but not quite as dark.

I am sure there is a straight forward fix for this one... :)

Have deleted the Meyers 200D as there are no fixes for the guages on this one, yet it had a wonderful cockpit.

What I am looking for is a good low wing like the Piper Line, fixed or retractable gear, ADF and Dual VORS, does not need to be a Turbo.

Something that would be comparable to the FSX Default Cessna 172 without the Glass Cockpit but with an Auto Pilot and Low Wing.

Cheers for now... ;)

Doug. It always helps to give a link to the file you're talking about. I assume you mean this one? http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=pa28r201pack.zip&categoryId=&filename=Y

It's not clear from the file description that this is an FS9 model with the usual display bugs in FSX + SP2. This can be fixed in the usual way by editing the Alpha channel of the prop disc texture.

This is what my modified prop disc looks like.

As you can see it's not perfect & it still has the familiar display bugs with clouds & autogen scenery.

I can upload my edited texture to my Lair if you want to try it.

Good morning all... :)

The change Doug sent me really works wonders, very very pleased with the results.

Did a demo flight through some clouds with several of the different liveries of the aircraft and what a difference the change made.

Have to go out but will post some shots after I get a simulated flight in later... ;)

Again...thanks Doug... ;)
