Russian flying fortress wanted!

Here is the aircraft I was hoping maybe somebody would like to design

I think it would be a really cool plane that probably a lot of people would be intrested in... well at least I am ;) ;D

That would be really hard considering that the plane crashed before anyone could take a good picture :-/. But the guns look really cool. Wonder what would happen if they were all shooting at the  same time ;)

It doesn't really matter if it ever existed, there were probably designs for it. Heck, the Nazis designed huge space stations and a few spaceplanes, and even built ballistic missiles half a century before any of them were practical.

And the Russians did have similar designs that flew, like the Tupolev ANT-20 [ch1052][ch1072][ch1082][ch1089][ch1080][ch1084] [ch1043][ch1086][ch1088][ch1100][ch1082][ch1080][ch1081]. The only reason that just two were built was that Stalin "purged" all the capable engineers.



Anyway, I'd fly the thing in the video, or the ANT-20, or any of the TB series aircraft.

im trying to find the article from the new york times, but i think this plane actually did exist. the Youtube video I think was an exagerated model, because the original design had 6 engines in the front, and 1 pusher.
