Wanted a better Airwolf
Posted: Wed Jul 22, 2009 12:07 amI would like to have a airwolf that can fly like the tv show. If anyone can modify the gmax model for this that would be sweet. And it would be a painstacking operation

Posted: Wed Jul 22, 2009 2:54 amIf you mean the "turbo" option they used to have then it can't be modelled. Engine type conflict. FS can't handle it. The only option is to modify the aircraft.cfg and whack up the top speed and fly it to that like a normal chopper.

A while back, while working a repaint of the REDwolf, I discovered a fan web site where someone had done extensive work modifying the air file and cfg file to get the turbo effect.
It flies more like a supersonic harrier than a helicopter now, but it is more on pace with the show.
I'll be uploading the package here soon.
Look for it in the FS2004 Helicopter section today or tomorrow.
