have you seen this F-16?

I'm looking for the F-16XL for use in FS9. I have found the file name for one, but all download locations end up either negative or requesting a paying membership, and since I'm already a paid member here, I don't see the need to give out more money to get free stuff,(yes, I'm a penny pincher :D)

This is the file name: stfalcn3.zip

If you know of a reliable download link for this plane I would be eternally grateful! :) Or if you know of a more recent version of the F-16XL that would be even better, as I am sure the one I am looking for is from FS2002/CFS2 and I'm sure will

;D Right after I posted this I found it!

I would still be interested in a more recent version if one exists though. ;)

Thanks to anyone that started looking. :)

As I feared, it is totally incompatible with FS9, so if anyone knows of another, I'm still looking. :(

I haven't found one either, except the one you just found.  The F-16XL is on my "Long List, along with the Avro "Avrocar", HL-10, X-24B, Ranger 3 (?) (Buck Rogers' shuttle), Farscape One, BSG Original Series Viper.........  I think I got a list of about 80 or so "wanna make one" for FS9/X  :P

I have found one that works, but it is in serious need of some .cfg tweaking to get it right, but at least it shows up in game and all the animations appear to work, so far. ;)

First one on this page: http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/file?rk=kA ... search.htm

I'm going to modify the cfg and do a repaint, because the paint job it has is just on this side of unacceptable for my tastes, looks like something out of a bad sci-fi cartoon. :-/ It does use Eric Marciano's panel though so that's a plus for it. 8-)
There are a couple of others on this page, but they are for FS98 and I haven't tried them yet, but I plan on getting to them eventually.
So I guess these have to do until something better eventually comes along. ;)
