Fictional VTOL dropship - details included

Hi guys! I'm new to the forums.

Personally, I'm not too fond of concept or fictious aircrafts in FS but there's one in particular that has grabbed my attention for a long while. I searched the net for anything like it, because finding an exact would have been next to impossible, and found nothing. I've even gone to the point where I've gotten other concept aircraft and tried modifying the specs where I've utterly failed.

Just as a side note, I'm currently learning how to repaint aircrafts, properly, inbetween my university timetables (woot for Aerospace Technology). Again, I'm quite useless as I am at the moment but I do want to contribute to the FS community as well, particularly Simviation.

Anyway, here it is.

It's the Dropship featured on the PS2 game "Dropship". I love the actual design, as it is set in the near future, it still somewhat resembles modern aircraft today, slightly. One thing that was unrealistic in that game was the flight maneuvers, cause that chunky dropship was capable of air to air, which I didn't quite expect from something that has a similar role to the C-130 Hercules. I guess that could be altered in some way. ::)

Image Note this is not the same dropship as the one in question but gives an idea of the effects and patterns of the aircraft.

"
Manufacturer: Syon Aerospace
Model: Defender Dropship "Buzzard"
Variation: UPF
Description: From Syon Aerospace comes the defensively-positioned Buzzard. A variant of the Vulture family, this aircraft is tough yet sophisticated and is useful in ground attack, deployment and even air to air combat. The Buzzard is used by the United Peacekeeping Force and serves as general troop and vehicle deployment within assault scenarios within a matter of minites due to its V/sTOL capabilites."

Two videos show the aircraft in action on the PS2 game. One is rather poor quality but there's only a few videos available. Both show some flight dynamics, general look of the aircraft, rear hatch movement and the sounds of it which, even though are possibly just generated from a vaccum cleaner, sound brilliant. 8-)

Note in the 'training' vid, where the author is racing the computer, when the red writing 'stall' pops up and beeps several times - I'm going to try to find a way to save that somehow or recreate the sound. There's even a website for it: http://www.dropship-pilot.com, where most of the details I've gotten have come from.

Edit1: With the help of Audacity, I managed to record the sound effects off the youtube video and was lucky enough to filter out all the noise but the beeping tone, amplified it and cleaned it up. Tested it on FSX and works!! You might think "So what?" But this is like my first achievement on this kind of editing  ;D

Cheers for any responses! ^^

Ack! After reading that post about that other guy claiming to be a designer, I feel a bit of a prat now, lol >.> I just do, especially as people don't say "Yeah, sure, I'll do it, for FREE, because I'm a designer and have all the free time in the world." I'm sorry.

I guess it's more of a suggestion really, heheh.

You never know, however.  It looks like a relatively simple design (Not that I'm volenteering!    :o  )

I think this topic "aircraft wanted" is not so much for requesting a "designer", but for "does anyone know where I can find 'aircraft X'?"

Lol? Why?

It's a good game, I think, but it's old. And the flight dynamics are a little messed lol. Still, I wanna give it a shot sometime when I next go home.  ;D
