Usually a 2004 aircraft will work in FSX.

Historic Jetliners Group has a nice KC-135 for FS2004, but as said earlier, it should work in FSX.

Depends on what's not working.  First thing to check is the texeure folder of he FS9 AC you are trying to install in FSX.  Odds are it needs a "Thumbnail.jpg".  If so, just "right click" the thumbnail to the left of the download link on the download page, and "copy" or "save to" the texture file.  Then go in and rename the jpg to "thumbnail"

Try that first, but there could be other things, like the sound file or the panel file.  If that's the case, just swap the files out with something similar.

Which one?  I didn't notice any KC's by the author you mentioned.

Okay, I see what may be the problem.  You have to download the base files, then install new textures.  I downloaded the "A" and "R" models am and now trying to decipher the installation instructions.

For the "A" model, you need to add tha "thumbnail" to the textures, for sure.

The "R" is much better.
