I looked for the best free ware of wwi fighter one by one. but I cann't identify which is the best by thumbnails. I don't want download them all and install because I am afraid to mass up my fsx. so  any help?

Have a look at this.

It is reported as 'payware' quality.
Many repaints for it are becoming available too.

You may have to download a few planes to try them out & if you don't like them ,remove them, like every one else has to do.

Are you looking for FSX or FS2004?

What is the 'best' depends on what you want.

Try and search these airplanes...
Im pretty sure there from WW1 OR WW2

B17-G

FFU-1D

There my favorite war propeller airplanes..Havent added them to my fs yet  :o

Shockwave makes a package that includes the P51 and the Spitfire along with a couple of others.  Do a Google search and you should be able to find a site that you can see some pictures.  I have them and they did not mess up my sys.

There's a really nice Bristol Figher MK1 on page 4-5 in the FSX vintage section. It's five parts, totaling over 70 mb, but it's well worth it... 8-)


There's also a FS9 B
