I am looking for a good painter to make a paint job of this for me (on Premier Aircraft Design's CL-604):

Anyone? Please? Not being very patient, but I just don't want this to fall back and be forgotten.

That isn't a condition of the repaint.  He just wants to know, I'm pretty sure. ;)

Is it a proper assumption that this is relative to the four CL604s available for FSD2k and FS2k2? I also suspect that the two for 2k2 are from the same models in FS2k...

What do you mean?

Perhaps it is I who's confused. We wound up in this forum from the Aircraft Repaint forum. Now, the sense of this escapes me since 'repainting', to me, means repainting: applying new texture(s) to an existing model. There are CL-604s listed for FS2k and FS2k2 although none are of your specific aircraft (paint scheme).
I didn't have much time for anything else since spent most of my time modifying my bike and had little sleep. I did manage, however, to download one of the CL-640s listed, a copper and white scheme, and took a px of it in FS2k2 flight. I uploaded the px earlier (yesterday, as of now) so it's been holding its breath in wait...

Here's the px:

Oh, heavens! It held its breath too long... it's turned blue and palid! :-[

Now, the reality is: the included textures are flat colors which, textures though they be, are not truly textured (no lighting/shadowing effects). When I have made textures at least some lighting effects are accounted for -- so I'm not accustomed to producing something like the above (which took about 30 minutes to recolor, fly, capture a picture and upload the px). This model, anteceding the CFS1/2 and FS98 designs I'm used to, would also take a bit longer to work on, I expect, because there are more textures to interconnect (unlesss we stuck to the plain-paint format).

The wings are white. There's no logo on the tail.

;D

Is the model I've shown the one you'd really want a repaint for?

If so, say so...

then have a little patience. Unless you want something similar to the above (plain/flat coloring in the bitmaps), I'd attempt a little better job with my own actual texturing: color hue, shading, etc.. If I rely only on the two pxs you've provided, there is a hue difference between the two pictures -- without further reference we'd have to decide on which one to match or I'd average the two...

Although proportions may be a shade off and a few textures not done/complete for the daylight, how's this compare to your pictures?

Haven't touched anything for the night textures, yet.
