Best B-17 for FS2002

I have a dear friend coming over in a couple of weeks and would love to have a beautiful B-17 for him .

A very high quality B-17 would be the payware one from Wings of Power.  The web site is http://www.fspilotshop.com/product_info ... ts_id=1157.  It is designed for FS2004 and works in FSX.  As for a model for FS2002, try one of the CFS2 models from http://www.simviation.com/cfs2aircraft10.htm.  I'm not sure how well it will work, but it should be able to be imported into FS2002.

Almost all the CFS2 aircraft are perfectly compatible with FS2k2. There are some lovely freeware models available.

To add to this point, if you look for the original "Wings of Power" boxed edition on ebay etc, which I believe was for FS2002/2004 in its original release...
