Any improved Flight Model for Learjet 45 ?

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Any improved Flight Model for Learjet 45 ?

Postby neu » Tue Dec 25, 2007 11:19 am

Hi there,

I just realized that the Default Learjet 45 would not be a bad plane to fly, but actually it has a really bad flight model imho. Is there any improvement for this, or any third party Learjet 45's?

Greetings, and happy holidays!

Hi Neu,

I just had a quick look at AVSIM.com and couldnt find anything to do with Lear 45, but there was an lear 45 or lear 60. If you dig deeper there or here on Simviation you may find your perfect plane.

Good luck,

Carl

I was browsing around before I raised my question, and I didn't find a good solution either. Actually a good Learjet 45 would be really awesome, something like the Payware Wilco CRJ. I'd be glad to purchase it!

Thanks, and have a good flight!

One way is to press CRTL + SHIFT + F1 this cuts the fuel off on any AIRCRAFT
Some aircraft have fuel cutoff switches on the throttle panel, I can not remember if the Lear 45 has the switches or not, I am at work right now so I can not look. 8-)

This is perhaps a new question about the Learjet 45 in FS9, but I suspect it is related......

In my "Sim World" the Learjet's Aircraft.CFG file states the minimum rpm is 25%. But while flying, it never idles below 33% and sometimes won't drop below 42%, (which makes slowing down enough to land a MAJOR problem.)  Is this the result of a bad MDL or is there someway to adjust????
