the navy curtis nc-4 flying boat...a detailed version....hard to understand why nobody has done a good job on this one.....then again maybe it wasn't the first to cross the atlantic? :)

It was indeed the first crossing of the Atlantic by air. Odd there isn't one. The first non-stop was of course Alcock and Brown in the Vickers Vimy which is a default aircraft in FS9.... never really thought about it. I've not seen a really good one but you never know there might be one in the works.

i don't quite figure it...the vimy was non stop....the nc-4 wasn't?....i've ordered plans for one, for an r/c electric............................vic
