Anyone know where I can get a very good quality paywere edition of this most stunning aircraft?

I don't know of any C-46 that is payware, but there is one here at http://www.simviation.com/fsxvintage7.htm for free.

The C-46 Daylightla mentioned is an excellent aircraft and better than most freeware.  Give it a try; I don't think you'll be disappointed.
