GA for RTW flight.

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

GA for RTW flight.

Since I have alot of free time now, I was looking at starting a RTW flight in a GA aircraft.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good GA with VC that has enough range to make Goose Bay -> Reykjavic -> Ireland/UK trans-atlantic route?

Both trike and taildraggers are ok, and it would be nice if the A/C is equipped with a VOR, so the over-water bits aren't pure guessing.

Let's see;

Lancair Legacy

Beechcraft Baron 58

Beechcraft KingAir 350

All have enough range to do it. The Lancair is the fastest.

The Howard 500 might be able to do it, although I can't recall if its equipped like you want.

The Learfan 2100 would probably be good.  It would be the fastest.

Thanks. I think I'll use the lancair. I don't think the Learfan quite qualifies as "GA."  ;)
