What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

old aircraft reccomdations

hello everyone,  i spend most of my sim time making beleive it the 1930s, so can anyone reccommend some high quality  freeware aircraft from this period or older.  any biplanes with good vcs would be great.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

There's also the Golden Wings scenery add-on, available in the Downloads pages... loads up more pre-WWII-looking objects on the ground, etc. It doesn't magically roll back the clock on the cities, but for low 'n' slow countryside flying, it looks a little more "period".
