Hello Everyone,
My name is Joe Zerilli, and I am from Orange County, NY (home of the orange county choppers). I am currently getting my PPL, and building some unofficial multiengine time with my father in our Cessna 414AW. I am particularly fond of the Mitsubishi MU-2 aircraft. I know that Bjorn Buchner has a long body model that has been out for some time now, but I was wondering if there was anyone here who might be willing to work with me to create a MU-2 Solitaire for FS9/FSX. The Solitaire is the short body aircraft. There are several models to choose from. Here was my idea.
Links are Photos of each model 3 pics of the P, 3 pics of the K.

MU-2P: Short body aircraft with the Powerful Garrett TPE331-10 engine, and 4 bladed props. Cruise at altitude in cold weather averages to about 315-320ktas.

MU-2K: Identical to MU-2P, except this aircraft has the TPE331-10 engines with 3 Bladed Props, and cruise in cold weather is about 335-340ktas.

It would be easy to model the second once the first was modeled, because all you would have to do is remodel the air file, and the aircraft model for 3 Bladed Props. I know several MU-2 owners, so we could definately get some professional help. I am also an amateur repainter, and can achieve some moderately good repaints. I also have SOME experience with guage and instrument placement in the 3D virtual cockpit, but I can create 2D panels from scratch, so I coudl do that.

There are tons of things about this aircraft that make it unique. For example, it does not have ailerons. It uses differential spoilers for roll control. I am willing to discuss this with the person who decides to work with me, and I can even set up a conference call with an MU-2 owner so that you can get all of the information you need, and discuss the aircraft.

I am willing to work with whoever is willing to work with me.
I look forward to working with any one of you.

Joe

I have that model. I am talking about working with someone to design a civillian version. That model is also horribly unrealistic. an MU-2 does not do 450kts

Ok. I dont see that anyone here is interested, so I will restate. I will galdly pay someone here to build this aircraft for me. We can discuss a fair price, that will work great for the both of us. You dont start building until you recieve the money.

don't worry, some of the boards here are low traffic and it sometimes takes a while. I would help you but i don't know the first thing about modeling.
