It would be great if one of you talented designers out there could do a version of this superb and unusual little tourer of the late 1930's for FS9/X.

G AEEG is still flying in the Shuttleworth collection as is at least one other example. There are many good photos available.

The Falcon played a part in the development of other aircraft including the Spitfire and Wellington by being used as a Vickers Company Hack and Photographic platform.

After all we do have the superb Bf108 and several similar U. S. tourers.

There are a couple of Miles projects under development at the moment including the Falcon. Please hang in there... they'll be here soon(ish) ;)

Great news Ozzy, thanks for the info.

I can't wait to see them. We already have a fairly decent Magister of course.

The Supermarine/Vickers Falcon was G-ADTD purchased from Phillips and Powis on 5 February 1936.

I have one blurry photo of it standing between the Supermarine hangars at Eastleigh ( in the  background of a shot of K5054) , but I have no idea of the paint scheme.

Indeed it would. It's the kind of thing Ted Cook might produce...

Indeed it is, although it's on its annual winter holiday in Sweden at the moment. The owner does have several other new toys to play with now though! ;D
