I was going to put this in Aircraft Wanted but thought I might get a quicker reply here!
I only have fs9 default 747 but would like something better.  I'd appreciate advice about what to get.
Freeware would be nice but I'll pay for a really good one if needs be  ;D

Thanks,
TerryW

The Ifly 747 is amazing! it takes a looooong time to get to know how to use it correctly, but the effort is well worth it for the incredible level of realism this bird brings. not sure if its on simV or not but just google it and youll find it

JB

EDIT: Its freeware - god knows why since you can pay good money for far insuperior aircraft out there

The best 747 is definately the PMDG. It is payware and very expensive but I think it is worth it.

Before buying that try the IFly and maybe the posky.

I noticed the iFly has 2 service packs. Dumb Question time: Need both or will just #2 do it?

Thanks - I now have them both, but the PMDG really mucks up the frames rates!

Funny, on my system, the PMDG is much better on frames than the iFLY model. I'd deffinately reccoment the PMDG model, yes it costs money but you will never tire of it.
