Hi guys, i've had FSX standard version for a month or so now, and i was wondering if it was possible if someone could create a ski plane for me to use since i don't want to go spend more money on the deluxe version just to use a ski plane, i really appreciate it if this could be done, tnx alot for all the awesome aircraft you guys supply us with daily ;D

Hi Shadow. Have a look round the FS2004 section. Most FS9 aircraft work fine in FSX. Try the
Aeronca Champ for starters.
Note: It comes with an auto-installer so direct the install path to a temp folder & install the files manually.

It comes with its own panel that works fine. It also has a DVC. No upgrade required. I wouldn't have recommended it otherwise. Please try it.

I'm no expert on ski-planes. You could try the Twin Otter here.
http://www.simviation.com/fs2004props107.htmPS. I haven't tried it but I see no reason why it woudn't work in FSX. It's possible some of the gauges will be incompatible.
Edit. Ignore that for now. I just tried it & it will need updating.

It's early days for proper FSX addons yet. FSX was only released a short time ago & many freeware developers won't even have it themselves. I suggest you look round Simviation & the other big sites either in the FSX or FS9 aircraft sections. It's quite possible that somebody will update that Twin Otter & other FS9 aircraft for FSX. That's the way it usually works until the developers get to grips with the new features.
