Hi, i'm looking for a decet GA plane to fly around my area and take in the sights. the piper cub is decent, but too "old" looking. I use the katana for this at the moment, but it hates to land...

Are there any decent performing GA planes with a decent over-cowl view? Any help would be appreciated!

Well any cessna is out of the question, the panels are HUGE.  Although a nice 150 would be nice

How about the Zlin Z-142? The panel and visibility may not be what you're after, but it a charm to fly...m favourite light aircraft  8)

It's not GA, but it's what i was looking for!

Thanks for the help, but once i got the gauges sorted, i was stuck! Hi-performance, low stall speed, GREAT vis.! Now all it needs is a personal touch...

Well, I guess its a little late, but I would deffinitely recommend you check out the Lancair Legacy (FS2004 Version, FS2002 Version, Repaint 1&2, Repaint 3, Manual & Checklist).

Its a really fun GA with plenty of viewable space in a bubble canopy, with a pretty good amount of speed, and its very easy to land.  One of my all-time favorites.

I tried the legacy... it was too much for my machine to run acceptably.
