Wanted: Crop Duster!

I would love to see and pilot a crop duster for FS2004! Perhaps someone can design some scenery that we can "dust" also. That would be fun...a little something to do instead of flying jumbo jets/cessnas all the time.

Bring on the AG CATS!! Sky Tractors!

For the crop spraying effects you'll need AirFxEz (costs $8.99) http://www.simviation.com/fs2004misc5.htm

Not so, ozzy!  The Ayers Turbo Thrush you have listed has just such an effect already on it.  Just download that, and you have an effect that will work just fine for any crop duster.  You'll have to manually edit the aircraft.cfg (using notepad) but the end result will be great.

Bring on the AG CATS!!

Grumman/Schweizer AgCats are interesting planes.  Apart from the usual radial engine to turboprop development, a fellow developed a twin-engined 'Cat, and some have been put on floats....

That is one goofy-looking aircraft, grysh.  Looks like it came straight out of a cartoon! ;D

The PL-12 Airtruk was designed so you could drive a truck up between the tailbooms and load the hopper in the rear of the fuselage without turning the plane's engine off - faster reloading, and therefore cheaper.  It's a sturdy little workhorse too, very reliable and operates from rough fields.  Huge flaps, very STOL.  But mainly I like it cos it looks goofy  ;D

One of these made an appearance in the movie Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

You can find a few more pics on www.airliners.net, search for "PL-12".
