Hi there, i found the payware b.o.b flypast at aeroplane heaven but i'd rather have a freeware version. If there is one available some where please could you tell me or if not it would be much appreciated if one was made.
Just to clarify, im looking for the Lancaster. Hurricane and Spitfire formation.

   Thanks :)

For CFS or FS?  If you're running CFS, I think you can just program it into a formation or something (I don't really know, never used CFS).  But if you're talking FS, you're opening up a whole new bag of worms.  You'll need to get a couple of little programs, learn to use them fairly well, read up on the specifics of the flight.

Well, you'll need several things:

1. TTools by Lee Swordy
This decompiles the traffic files and makes them accessible using Notepad or other word program.

You can also go get a freeware editor of your choice to make things a bit easier to figure out.  There are literally dozens to choose from.  The latest is here at the bottom of the page.  You can search around through those pages for others.

2. A good knowledge of what the traffic system does in FS.  I spent about a week looking it up and down, and finally gave up and made do with the default traffic (after all, I usually fly where there is no traffic).  AI Aardvark may be of some help to you, but the main man there retired from AI stuff not long ago.  There are other sites related to this very thing, so do some searching, as I'm sure I don't know them all.

3. The last thing you need is INFINITE PATIENCE!  There is nothing quick in this little project you have.  It might get a bit frustrating, but the best stuff always does.

Good luck!
