Freeware XC-47?

I realise that the only XC-47 (amphibious DC-3) available is the payware MAAM-SIM one, but as I scrolled through this page of FS9 DC-3 screens, I sumbled across THESE TWO pictures.

At first, I wrote it off as simply being the MAAM one, but when I had a second look (and compared it to a MAAM screen), the model (mainly the tail and windows) more closely resembled the default FS9 DC-3. Needless to say, I was confused. I suppose it could be edited, but I don't really see the purpose of such an edit, why not just post a screen of the MAAM one?

So, is there a freeware XC-47 that I've never heard of, or am I just making mountains out of molehills? There's probably an obvious answer to my question, but I'm not exactly the brightest bulb on the chandelier, so the pics probably mean nothing. Thought I'd ask anyway.

Ya, ive seen that, but I know for a fact that there arent any freeware ones out there, I dont know where he got that XC-47.

But Id suggest you get the MAAM DC-3, its a great plane and with the upgrade coming out on the 2nd its going to be the best, and the money goes to a GREAT cause

Indeed, that package has had me impressed for quite a while, and it's been on my "must-get" list since I first laid eyes on it.

Only thing that's really stopping me is the concern I have over framerates. As you can see from my sig, I don't have the most high-end computer around. :P
