Hey, does anyone know where I can get a good F/A-18 and add-on aircraft carrier??? I really wanna do take-offs and landings on an aircraft carrier!!!

For a good freeware F-18, Team KBT is a great addon,  Here, and 3Wire is a good program that acts as the wires on carriers. Hope this helps you.

Thanks a lot Sir_Jon, but I'm kind of worried. I've only JUST heard that you can incorporate aircraft carriers into Flightsim. Can you help me, or walk me through it? I've tried it once and the readme.txt didn't help me at all

Theres an awesome f18 by Daisuke Yamamoto (I think thats his name) here on SimV. Great a/c

Yer Daisuke Yamamoto's F-18 is the Team KBT, as for adding the carriers, I presume its like other addon scenery. Extract the folder with scenery and texture in it to your addon scenery directory, then go into FS9/Settings and add it. Restart FS and it should be there  :D. Hope this helps,

Thanks bushels guys, but its not working See, I downloaded some freeware F/A-18 stuff, and the carrier add-on. I added it while FS was running though, so that might be why its not working, but it worked with all the props i downloaded (which, btw, I will be posting screenshots of, if I can learn how to do so) so i dunno...

if you are wiling to dish out some $$$ you can buy an adon, i think at bust buy it has a carrier and other asorted navy aircraft but there 2002 compatable so the quality is not so good but the carier is cool. i think its called flight deck III.

I find that landing props is no problem, but the F18 is a huge challenge to get down, especially without the guiding system... It took me about 40 tries the first time  :)
