Well, after finishing my 'round the US flight, and getting that 'round France trip in with the Tour de France, I've set out on a new adventure, 'round the world.  However, I've hit a wall, what plane should I use.  I was thinking along the lines of a Lear 35, but preferably something smaller.  I want it to be fast, and a propeller plane would work.  Something with some size though, over 20 mil to buy  ;).  For those who HAVE completed a RTW trip, what did you use, and would you recommend it?  Any suggestions appreciated.

Well, Im thinkin about starting one soon in the Sikorsky S-43, but that is not that fast, maybe 200 mph.  The Howard 500 would probably work though.

If you want to do a RTW with a prop (single prop?) go for a Pilatus PC-7 or Lancair Legacy. Both are bloody fast for a single prop (300 knts) and both fly and land pretty easy. I am thinking about starting my own RTW again (for the third time) using the PC-7.

I've tried countless times to fly the Howard, and my computer doesn't seem to like it all that much, as the frames are just horrible.  Though I just upgraded to 512, and haven't flown FS yet, who knows.

Sorry, the Il-76 is a jet powered. If you wish propelled aircraft, try the Antonov An-24, 26 series. Very good VC cockpit.

Okay, I've found the Cessna Citation II.  Good size for me, and easy lander.  Not to mention it's a bullet.
