Westland Wessex wanted for FS9

I have mastered aircraft repainting, some scenery design, AFCAD and ATC editing etc, but can't seem to get my head around building an aircraft .

One aircraft that seems to have been entirely neglected in a decent format ( although there are a couple for FS98 ) is the old Wessex workhorse helicopter for FS2004.

I know there are some half decent Sikorsky S58/H34s around , but the Wessex Mk 3 for example with it's bulged nosecone and dorsal radome is an entirely different looking beast from the original Sikorsky.

So how about it you expert aircraft designers out there? ( I have a cutaway drawing and numerous photos available to help if required)

And while we are on the subject why is there not a decent freeware Sikorsky S76 available for FS9 ?

Sorry to be cheeky , but these might be interesting projects for someone. :)

Best place to look is over at Hovercontrol.com (although many of the files have been posted here later) - a very acceptable Wessex Mk 5 there, the designer insists it's only a beta, I think he's selling himself short :D

No S-76 as yet, but there are all sorts of projects under development there.

Andy,
Thanks for the great tip, the Wessex ,even though it is only a development model is great . It flys very well also . It has a great vintage feel and much more character than the S58s.
I will add a temporary panel and a mini panel ( for flying in spot  view ) to get the best out of it while waiting for the finished product

I had to download it from the designer's own website ie SimShed homepage .

I must try to get in touch with him to ask him to produce the final model with a radome equipped variant.

I note also that there is a developmental S76 on Hovercontrol.com

No problem.  I've been speaking to him about another project he's working on, so the Wessex is not going to be worked on any time soon.
