I was checking out there site and was considering a couple of there impressive planes. Well that is the way that it sounds and looks anyways.

But first I was wondering if anyone has any input before I download a super big file. Well it is super big if you have a slow a*@ dial up like me.

For those that have any of there new planes, please give me some feed back on what you think of there planes.

The first on that I would d/l is the Airbus A340.

Thanks in advance,
Marlin.

POSKY aircraft are all nice, they look most realistic and are very detailed. Only download them if you have a mid/high end PC otherwise you'll have wasted your time because they are framerate killers!

Just DLd their enormous 747 package and only had time for a quick peek... very nice, but I noticed that not all of the 30 (!) repaints will load... probably something I did, but... hmmm.

I think that I would consider this to be around a mid grade computer.

2 Gig processor
512 RDRAM
64 MB GeForce

I have and use the flight sim manager. The thing that I like the best is that it frees up ram. It really makes a differance in frame rates.

What range do you think I fall in?

Hi Marlin,
Seeing you like POSKY, I have a few word's to say. The A330's and 747's are gud quality. But as for the A340's they lack a little quality. In addition, ligthting effects are kind of messed up. But otherwise, the model's are FRAME-RATE killers. That's in FS2004. As of FS2002, I get smooth frames. But then again, FS2002 has rather poor graphics compared to FS2004. Still, I prefer good old FS2002.

Cheers,
Ashar ;)

Thanks everyone for the input.

I did download the A340 and wasn't really impressed. Some of the things like the gear down lever doesn't work in the 2d cockpit and does in the VC mode. One problem, it takes some time to switch between views. Frame killer is right.

My 737 experiance is a way better package.

So is there A 330 as much of a frame killer too?
If so who makes one that is equal or better that the 737experiance package. I like that one, flys great.

I downloaded a JAL Cargo and Cathay Pacific 747's, A united airlines and qantas 767 and the CRJ-200 and CRJ 900 and they are all fantastic.

I haven't had any frame rate issues with any of them and my system is quite modest.  The only complaint is having to find panels for them and the Auto throttle on the CRJ's.
