simple .air file request

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

simple .air file request

Postby TacitBlue » Mon Jan 31, 2005 8:37 pm

Heres the deal, I have a piper aztec that I really like except for one strange problem. when making a turn the rudder seems to slip back to center. let me elaborate - if I make a 15 degree bank, and apply the appropriat amount of rudder, the turn coordinator goes to center, and then starts to slide in the direction of the turn, as if I needed to apply more rudder in that direction. all this while making a level controlled turn at 15* of bank. If I apply more rudder, it does the same thing until the pedal wil not go any farther. then when coming out of the turn, returning pedals to center, the rudder goes all the way in the other direction, and slowely returns to center. I dont know anything about creating, or editing .air files, but I am sure that is where the problem is. I would be grateful if someone more knowledgable than I would try to make the corrections. here is the link to this aircraft ftp://63.217.28.218/1props/Aztec_v3.zip
If anyone decides to, please email the corrected file to the address listed in my profile, that is if you cannot get the original authors permission to post it here on the V.

P.S. if this is something extrememly simple, feel free to post here and tell me how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

IF, BIG IF you have the original downloaded file in UNZIPPED find it (I keep mine on desktop) and exchanged the air file there with the suspect one.
