millitary plane for carriers

hi all what is the best plane to land on aircraft carriers, it has to have a good vc, and also that tail that comes out the bottom of the plane to catch the restrainers on the deck.

I'm partial to the F-14, but any plane that is actually used on a carrier would be fine. In fact, since the arresting wires are modeled by an addon program, you could probably use any aircraft, depending on the paramaters of the addon program.
