hey,
well theres a bit of both out there. Theres a version of the X-32A in test format, and theres a X-32A in boeings final format with tail services. I think its time we hit the nail on the head and make a good X-32A as shown in the images below:

the models out there are'nt to great sorry to say, surely someone would be willing to give this a fresh start i know its not ganna happen in real life but i think its such a cool plane, in my eyes should have won the JSF contract over Lockheeds version.
