Looking for Ekranoplans.....

What aircraft have you been unable to find after a long search? There may be an answer!

Looking for Ekranoplans.....

Postby Zhukov121 » Wed Sep 08, 2004 6:40 am

Hi!

A few years ago I saw a screen shot of an Ekranoplan by a French guy for use in FS. I've been searching for this download now since and have since lost the link to the site showing the picture....

Anyone know where I can get it from???

Thanks in advance

Dave

Just in case you don't know what I'm talking about - here's a page from my website  :)

Take this, it is an Orlenok - Ekranoplan

http://copperbeard.narod.ru/madeby_e.htm will get you Michael Shulgin's Orlenok.  It's quite good.

'course, if you want realistic then you just might want to take a look at my TAB (Tandem Aerofoil Boat) right here at SimV...

It's only a tiddler though, lakes and esturies only.  Works best in FS2002 but reportedly works OK in FS9.

Thanks to both of you guys!!!!

Hapiness is skimming the sea in my Eranoplan  ;)

Just a quick little question (mostly Laziness asking), do any of you guys know of an 'airfield' set on the coast? About the nearest I've found so far is Kissimee, USA - but that's a lake and a fair trek to the sea, rather disappointing when you can see the sea and hid a tree.... :(

Thanks again!

A90 Orlenok

same as the one reviewed at flightsim.com
There is a Lun somewhere on the net too, but that one looks like a Fs98 plane remade with FSDS
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur
