As title says really, anyone know where i could get the Mig in the film, and also that other small jet they used to fly against
whilst at the TopGun school in the film

im trying to get the whole thing together and repaint them exactly like in the film and do my own little capture of some scenes

The MiG "28" shown in the film is actually an F-5 in psuedo Russina markings...they used both singles and duals in the movie. The type has been used as an aggressor frequently.

The aggressor aircraft shown in the film are A-4's.

Hej I just painted a nice "mig 28" kostume for a two seat
northrop f-5 that was used in the movie top gun to
simulate russian jets (mig 28 never really existed but i
surposed you knew)

it is in two livery norweigan airforce paint
it is quite nice ( 8 mb ) except for the VC that has no moving gauges but the panel is okej.
If you want my "mig-28" textures maybe i can send them to you somehow.

ya that looks exactly like the one they trained against in the film...where can i get that? im almost there to my Topgun scene recreations

I know I've got a thread in freeware screenshots titled "Jesters dead" that I used the alphasim A-4 agressor and the newish F-14 but the forum search aint workin and I can't find it manually. Only three shots but they were pretty good, for me anyway  :P

I just mailed the changed texures for f-5.
only the two files that i changed to save som space.
just copy and paste them into any of the two standard texure maps and it should look somewhat like a topgun
mig.

Cheers Prowler, i think ill have to break my habit of free planes and start paying, just scared it will turn into thats gonna cost me an arm and a leg everytime i see a plane i like  lol
