Could someone please make an F-15 Active. I don't think it would be that hard to modify and add a couple tiny wings on. But I have 0 knowledge of how to actually model. Also if anyone would care to make the Commanche. Since it's being cancelled everyone could still have a nice time flying it in a sim, thanks.

You could approach Mr Kimitaka Nishida.
He was responsible for producing the amazing gmax model for fs2004. This is the link to his site, maybe you could mail him and see if he could assist you with your request.
http://flightinfo.ens.ne.jp/coral/f-15hangar_usaf.htmlGood luck.
If you have no already got his F15 I would recommend you get it.. You will not be dissappointed.
Cheers
Ham

I have to second that, I would like one as well. I din't bother to ask because I dont think anyone is willing to take the effort because you will have to modify the flight aerodynamics of the whole thing.

yes but also you forget- to change the asthetical side of an aircraft the original designer needs to open up his programs, add to the model, re-export and then rewrite certain configs like fd's. a lot of people dont have the time *but* then some will answer your request.
what does this f15 thing look like anyhow? and good luck mate.

ye theres a Commanche here i ant downloaded it yet but its ment to be a pritty good model.
thank god its been cancelled i think it was a complete waste of time although some elements will be used with the new Apache version which the army have ordered 19 for FY05 weather these will include some elements of the Commanche is yet to be seen, but who needs an update on the apache its far more advanced than any other like it, i have read some military reports that say there would be no need for a replacement for the apache for at least 50years, in any case the Commanche would have only worked alongside the apache and not replace it, i feel it was an effort to replace the OH-58 which is well past it.

hey dan, yep if ya go to
www.army.mil i think the news item is still on their homepage but ya may have to search the archives, not a bad read. Its the front page news in this months airforces monthly. Updates on the Ah-64, Uh-60, Ch-47 and a replacement for the Oh-58's are the main reason for the Commanche being scraped, makes sence though as it is US army policy to keep successful models going and with everyone updating their aircraft for the digitised forces plan they need all the money they can get.

I'd also be interested in a F15 Active if it became available.
Here's a link to some Dryden photos:
