I'm going to suggest the same plane as Omag, Steven Grants Aviat Husky is very very nice. It's also got a really nice VC that is easier to fly from than the 2D panel IMHO.

I just went and downloaded that Aviat Husky... it's a very, very good plane.  I like it a lot!

its one of the best free planes out, but i think its a big download. taildragger,tri gear, and amphibious models
good plane in real life too
